 Electrical Engineering Excellence Award

The Electrical Engineering Excellence Award recognizes outstanding contributions in the field of electrical engineering, including innovations in power systems, electronics, communications, control systems, robotics, and signal processing. It honors individuals whose work has significantly advanced research, education, technology development, or industrial applications.

The award celebrates pioneering ideas, exceptional research outcomes, impactful technological innovations, and leadership that shape the future of electrical engineering.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Academic and Professional Standing:
  Open to undergraduate, graduate, doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, early-career engineers, senior professionals, and academicians specializing in electrical engineering or closely related fields.

• Area of Contribution:
  Eligible contributions include but are not limited to:

  • Power Systems and Renewable Energy

  • Electronics and Semiconductor Technologies

  • Control Systems and Automation

  • Signal and Image Processing

  • Communications and Networking

  • Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

  • Embedded Systems and IoT (Internet of Things)

• Achievement Requirements:
  Applicants must demonstrate outstanding performance in at least one of the following:

  • Original published research in reputable journals or conferences

  • Patented inventions or technology innovations

  • Notable engineering projects with proven impact

  • Contributions to education, mentoring, or public service within the field

  • Leadership roles in professional organizations or significant outreach activities

• Supporting Materials:
  Candidates may be required to submit:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • A detailed summary of their contributions (maximum 2 pages)

  • Copies of key publications, patents, or project reports

  • At least two letters of recommendation from recognized experts

Selection Process:

• Nominations and self-nominations are welcome.

• A selection committee composed of distinguished scholars and industry leaders will review all submissions based on merit, originality, and impact.

• Finalists may be invited for an interview or presentation.
