Anthropic has introduced Claude 4, its most advanced AI model yet, capable of performing complex, multi-hour tasks autonomously for nearly seven hours. Supported by Amazon and Google, the flagship model Opus 4—along with Claude Sonnet 4—marks a shift from simple task execution to goal-driven work, functioning more like a digital coworker. Rather than replacing jobs, Claude 4 is designed to automate routine and time-consuming tasks, helping users focus on more meaningful work. As Anthropic’s product lead Scott White explains, it targets “the 30% of your day that’s necessary but not professionally enriching.”
