Niallia tiangongensis Discovered on Tiangong Space Station #sciencefather #NialliaTiangongensis


Scientists discovered a new species, Niallia tiangongensis, aboard China’s Tiangong Space Station. Likely from Earth, it has adapted to harsh space conditions. Similar discoveries include Solibacillus kalamii (2017) and Methylobacterium ajmalii (2021) on the ISS.
